Plant nutrition
In the constant strive for optimal nutrient uptake, plant roots drastically alter their morphological characteristics. To increase the nutrient use efficiency, not only the uptake, but also the re-usage and translocation of nutrients is tightly controlled.
Current projects related to plant nutrition are:
1. Adaption of nutrient distribution under micro- and hyper-gravity (Moss/ Arabidopsis)
